Our thoughts;
Well it’s fair to say this is very different to the previous model, no more 6 cylinder, no more RWD, no more crazy tail slides without warning! It’s fair to say it’s a bit more sensible but is that a bad thing? I’m not sure it is, the combination of a punchy 4 cylinder engine, coupled to BMW’s great 4wd system makes this a very capable and enjoyable modern Hot Hatch more suitable to the UK roads. 302bhp, 62mph in 4.8seconds and a restricted top end of 155mph means this is no slouch.
