Ford announced this model as the most dynamic version of the 4th generation Focus and after driving it I can confirm it is! The wheels alone save 40kg so I have no idea what they used for the old ones, and the very trick suspension is fantastic! Rather than trying to rework the originals they instead put them in the bin and started again with the help from KW Automotive! 12 compression and 16 rebound settings give you all the adjustability you could ask for! It doesn’t feel like a whole new car and you notice at low speeds that it’s not as forgiving as a standard but it’s still more useable around town than the Type R or Megane Trophy. When out on the open roads the grip levels are hugely improved and this thing really comes alive. I think Ford have found the perfect balance with this car and with it being so rare it’s one not to miss!
